This gearbox oil cooler kit is for the R380 gearbox fitted to all 300 Tdi and Td5 Defender and Discovery manual models, as standard Land Rover only fitted a cooler to ROW (Rest Of World) spec vehicles that were likely to be in a very hot climate. The European spec models didn’t come with this oil cooler option, this kit is a perfect addition for vehicles in hotter parts of Europe and vehicles working hard towing, carrying weight like Overland builds and competition vehicles.
This R380 gearbox oil take off plate is a perfect addition to any Land Rover Discovery or Defender with a R380 Manual gearbox being used in a hot climate, heavy towing, Overland build, or competition vehicle.
Important Information:
- The take-off plate does NOT have a thermostatic valve.
- On the top of the billet take-off plate, there is a blanked m14x1.5 thread, this will take the original Land Rover Temperature Sender.
- The fan kits are not supplied with a thermostatic fan switch, please contact us for this option.
- The inlet and outlet ports are M20 x 1.5
