Complete Braided Brake Line Kit

A complete stainless steel braided brake line system, custom-made in the UK for your Defender 110 — a direct replacement for every flexible brake hose on the vehicle.

Front fitting type — please read

Later Td5 models use a different front brake fitting to the earlier ones, which changes how the front caliper hard lines connect. Before ordering, please check which type your vehicle has — and the conversion options — in our male & female fitting explanation.

This kit replaces all the flexible brake hoses on your Defender 110 Td5 (1998-2006, RHD) with PTFE-cored, stainless steel braided lines, each built to the correct length and fittings for your vehicle — for a firmer pedal, sharper response and corrosion resistance that outlasts the original rubber.

The hero feature

Why braided lines?

A rubber brake hose swells every time you press the pedal, soaking up pressure that should reach the caliper — the cause of a soft, vague pedal. A stainless braided line with a PTFE core barely expands, so more pressure goes straight to the brakes: a firmer, sharper, more consistent pedal that resists the mud, salt and abrasion that rot ordinary hoses.

  • A full set of PTFE-cored, stainless steel braided brake hoses, custom-made to fit your Defender 110
  • Correct fittings and copper washers where required
  • Excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance for off-road and expedition use
  • Meets recognised brake hose standards (SAE J1401 equivalent) — compatible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluid
  • Chassis retaining clips to secure the lines
  • Rear axle clips
  • Banjo bolts with copper washers, where required

Check which front flexi fittings your vehicle has before ordering. This kit is supplied to suit either male or female front fittings. The front caliper hard lines (bag 1) are only included if you select male fittings — if you select female they are not supplied, because they cannot be made to fit.
