Axle & Transfer Box Breather Kit
Three braided stainless breather lines for the front axle, rear axle and transfer box — routed high to help keep water out when wading.
The factory breathers vent through short pipes low down on the axles and transfer box. When a hot component is plunged into cold water, the air inside contracts and can draw water through a low breather. This kit is designed for the Land Rover Defender 90 Tdci. It relocates the front axle, rear axle and transfer box breathers using three stainless-braided lines, helping them draw clean air from a higher, protected position.
Raises the three supplied breathers to help reduce the risk of water entering during wading.
Stainless-braided breather hoses stand up to heat, abrasion and under-vehicle grime.

Why relocate your breathers?
Axles and transfer boxes heat up and cool down as you drive. If a hot casing is suddenly immersed in cold water, the air inside contracts. When its breather is low down, it can draw in water along with air.
This kit routes the front axle, rear axle and transfer box breathers to a higher, protected position using braided stainless hoses. It is designed to help reduce water ingress, milky oil and premature wear during off-road use and wading.
