Complete Braided Brake Line Kit

A complete stainless steel braided brake line system, custom-made in the UK for your Defender 110 — a direct replacement for every flexible brake hose on the vehicle.

IMPORTANT THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE CALIPER HARD LINE REPLACEMENT. Contact us to discuss the conversion option we offer.

This kit replaces all the flexible brake hoses on your Defender 110 TDCi (2011-2016, LHD) with PTFE-cored, stainless steel braided lines, each built to the correct length and fittings for your vehicle — for a firmer pedal, sharper response and corrosion resistance that outlasts the original rubber.

Why braided lines?

A rubber brake hose swells every time you press the pedal, soaking up pressure that should reach the caliper — the cause of a soft, vague pedal. A stainless braided line with a PTFE core barely expands, so more pressure goes straight to the brakes: a firmer, sharper, more consistent pedal that resists the mud, salt and abrasion that rot ordinary hoses.

  • A full set of PTFE-cored, stainless steel braided brake hoses, custom-made to fit your Defender 110
  • Correct fittings and copper washers where required
  • Excellent corrosion and abrasion resistance for off-road and expedition use
  • Meets recognised brake hose standards (SAE J1401 equivalent) — compatible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluid
  • Chassis retaining clips to secure the lines
  • Rear axle clips
  • Banjo bolts with copper washers, where required

Front caliper hard lines are not included with this kit. This vehicle uses female front flexi fittings, which our caliper hard lines cannot be made to fit, so the kit starts at bag 2. Full explanation and the conversion route are on the male and female front flexi fittings guide.
